High ranking GOP Congressman lies with impunity . . . . does anyone care? Fuck yes - I do!

In an interview with TPM, a Richmond Police Department spokesman said the bullet that penetrated a window in a building that includes a campaign office of Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA) was "an act of random gunfire."

"What we were describing yesterday in fact describes an act of random gunfire," said Public Information Manager Gene Lepley.

Cantor held a nationally televised press conference yesterday in which he said, "Just recently, I have been directly threatened. A bullet was shot through the window of my campaign office in Richmond this week." He said he has been targeted not only because he is a member of Congress, but also because he is Jewish.

But a police statement on the incident, which occurred early Tuesday morning, suggested that someone had fired a bullet up into the air and it went through the window of the building on the way back down. While it went through a window, it did not penetrate the blinds, according to the police.

A Cantor spokesman did not immediately return a call for comment.
Here's the scenario - Right-wing, GOP House Whip Eric Cantor hears about several news reports of Democratic lawmakers lives threatened and acts of violence at Dem lawmakers offices, and even one attempt on the lives of a Democratic Congressman's brother's family. And so what does he do? In a childish attempt to blunt the criticism of the GOP's blatant acts of inciting the right-wing, teabagging, birther jerks, he goes on national television, looking all serious looking and sounding, and literally makes up an insinuating lie about he himself being a direct target of violence by his political enemies. What a fucking tool.

But ladies and gentlemen, and I've been saying it for years, --- Eric Cantor truly is the mind and face of your modern day Republican party. The party of shameless assholes and serial liars.

And if people like Cantor are the kind of people you want running the country -- all I can say is you can count on me and this shitty little blog being around for a very, very, long time.

And to think these asshats are procreating . . . . . Yikes!

Oh my!

Quarter of Republicans Think Obama May Be the Anti-Christ

How does a major political party maintain any semblance of integrity or credibility when 1 out of 4 of their members are self professedly, certifiably insane?

"On the heels of health care, a new Harris poll reveals Republican attitudes about Obama: Two-thirds think he’s a socialist, 57 percent a Muslim—and 24 percent say “he may be the Antichrist.”

Exclaiming Holy Fuck! doesn't even begin to express my astonishment at these people and their delusional beliefs.

One thing I am fairly certain of though is that this is probably what the response of this guy would be:

Tuesday Night M-Vloggin' - - with Garth Brooks

Garth Brooks does a decent cover version of Hard Luck Woman by KISS. Apparently he was a big KISS fan as a teen (I gotta admit I was too and still am).

Patriots my ass . . . .

It has become painfully obvious that the far right wingnuts are incapable of competing in the vast marketplace of ideas, so predictably they fall back to what they do best -- threats of and actual violence. They're nothing but a bunch of whining, sorry ass mother fucking cowards if you ask me and I'm having a very difficult time considering them "my fellow Americans."

FBI officials are investigating a self-proclaimed conservative blogger after he used his Twitter account to call for the assassination of President Obama on Sunday night.

Solomon "Solly" Forell tweeted: "ASSASSINATION! America, we survived the assassinations of Lincoln and Kennedy. We'll surely get over a bullet 2 Barack Obama's head."

Another post said, "The next American with a clear shot should drop Obama like a habit."

And,

Rochester/Niagara Falls, N.Y. -- The same day a brick crashed through her Niagara Falls office, Rep. Louise Slaughter (D) says her staff discovered an assassination threat aimed at her family members. The Democratic headquarters in Rochester was also targeted.

No one was inside when the brick was hurled through the Democratic Patry Headquarters on University Avenue. Attached was a note quoting conservative Barry Goldwater: “Exremism [sic] in defense of liberty is no vice”.

The note was the only clue -- until now.

“I’m advocating broken windows. I’m advocating vandalism," says Mike Vanderboegh. We spoke to him by phone from his home in Pinson, Alabama.

Vanderboegh is referring to his blog called Sipsey Street Irregulars. He says his invitation to “break windows…break them now” is behind the incident in Rochester and at least two others in Tucson and Kansas. The message to Democrats should be clear.

And these are the self-described "true patriots" and "real Americans" who are of the belief that they, and only they, have a god-given right to governmental rule in America?? It'll be a sad and frightening day for the United States if these bastards ever do gain the levers of power is all I can say.

Beck: "[T]he president" has "just punched you in the face with health care"
March 23, 2010 8:02 pm ET

From the March 23 edition of Fox News' Glenn Beck:

Haha! Ummm no Glenn -- the President did not punch me in the face. He kicked you and your TeaBagging zombie bots squarely in your shriveled nuts with one of his Presidential steel-toed boots. Only you are all much too preoccupied stomping your feet like spoiled children, bawling like the spiteful brats you are and hurling spittle soaked invectives to fucking realize the totality of your ignominious defeat.

No worry, at some point in the very near future here, you and your cowardly, midnight brick throwing TeaBuggers are going to suddenly glance down at your nether regions and discover the horror of your crushed, bruised and swollen scrotum sacs. And when that moment of Zen self consciousness occurs it will be accompanied by the stark reality of your political irrelevancy, and it will indeed feel like a sucker punch directly to your hateful, scowling faces.

GOP -- Health Care Reform = Armageddon . . . . . no really . . .

If it weren't for the usually level-headed work of Shep Smith, FOX Noize would be nothing more than a corporate run, FCC licensed institution for the mentally disturbed. On second thought, even with Smith, having Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity alone on the same network qualifies them for the loony bin designation if you ask me.

Na, na, na, na -- Na, na, na, na -- Hey, hey, hey goodbye! . . .

Don't let the door hit you in your Oxycontin saturated ass on the way out Limpballs:

[From March 8, 2010]

Hate radio host Rush Limbaugh has been one of health care reform’s most vociferous opponents, warning that “[h]uman beings will die earlier than normal” under the “freedom killing” and “life threatening” plan, and calling for it to be “aborted.” Yesterday, Limbaugh put his money where his mouth is, saying that if health care passes and all his fears are realized, he’ll leave the country:

Just saying . . .

Somebody has to have the courage to say it . . .

Olbermann hits the proverbial nail on the proverbial head and pretty much condenses into 7 minutes what I and other dirty fucking hippie bloggers have been saying for years about your modern day Republican party and their increasingly rightward, klanish tilt.

I'm glad he said it and it needs to be pointed out more often.
